I started fitness as a stress relief from University studies. Since then I just couldn’t stop I got my qualifications and now have 20 years experience (and study more every year) in the fitness industry, with the past 10 years spent competing, coaching and judging for the Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Model competitions.
Certified with Fitness Australia, my mission is to educate women to achieve their best body ever, with a simple approach no fads, no gimmicks.
I live and breathe fitness and I need to maintain my workouts as this is the reason why I started! I love the feeling of being fit.

I have mantras they are a way of using positive self talk to get you through every situation.
What are your favorite times to use your Gripped Headphones?
I love super loud motivating music at a workout and particularly at night because I mostly have to go to the gym at 7.30om when my kids are in bed….and I have always had a busy day and need that motivation from my music LOL
What has been your favorite moment on your fitness journey?
It was a huge achievement to step on stage just 5 months postpartum, at 40 years of age, with 2 kids, beating my personal best condition. I feel like with a history of binge eating, failed comp preps and injuries in the past it’s always incredible to overcome disappointments and grow as a person to get on stage again. It gives me hope for my clients that if I can show my vulnerability and my flaws and be honest – they know that they too can achieve anything.
A few years back it was so bad on social media, everyone pretending life is perfect, I love all the REAL life accounts that share the honest journey. I am proud to be a part of that with my Instagram account. I want to help others understand that being perfect is not the only way to achieve success!
What’s a random fact that many people wouldn’t know about you?
I love to travel and have visited Bali 5 x Thailand 5 x and recently went to LA and Phoenix Arizona. Random fact is that I get really sick on planes and hate flying but I do it anyway – I just drink heaps of water as travel sickness medication doesn’t work for me eeeekkkkk
What has been your biggest challenge through your fitness journey, and how did you overcome it?
The constant need to improve yourself and keep on growing as a person, with education and your own self-mastery can be exhausting. I always need to schedule in rest days so I don’t overwork myself. I reached rock bottom with chronic fatigue in the past after winning the State Titles Bikini INBA comp, running my business, studying and working simultaneously I don’t want to push myself to exhaustion again.
What advice would you pass on to someone in their own fitness journey?
Goal setting is critical, having a coach and working out what you love to do. Don’t feel the need to be like anyone else as you are unique and special and your goals need to be something that you personally are passionate about.
