Working out has always been a part of his life since the age of 16. Like most teenagers, Frank joined a local gym with some of his buddies and started following the routines of regular gym goers. His goal was similar to most, "Get Big"
As the years went by, Frank started to fall deeper into the fitness world. He started reading articles every day on weights, nutrition, and supplementation. He even started eating healthier and making his own food instead of turning to fast food options. As his knowledge grew heavier, he decided to become certified at the age of 27. This was when he realized that fitness was more than just getting big. It was about mind, body and soul, and how great a healthy lifestyle can be. Frank currently works with hundreds of clients a month and helps them achieve their desired goals. There is no better feeling than seeing and receiving the love from people he helped over the years and how hard they worked to transform their bodies.

We had the opportunity of getting to know Frank a little more! 

 

Why fitness?

Fitness is my way of life. It’s not only made me stronger and healthier but has also changed my life in so many ways.

 

What sets you apart from other athletes?

I think what sets me apart is my unique style of training. I like to come up with alternatives for many different exercises so people have options and never get bored.

 

How would your best friend describe you?

Probably as fun and outgoing. I like to make the best out of every situation. I can be a jokester as well lol

 

What are your personal long term and short term goals?

My long term goal is to be successful in my industry and to reach as many people as possible to help with health and fitness goals.

 

Who inspires you and why?

Bodybuilders like Arnold, Tom Platz, Lee Haney and Lee Priest inspired me from when I was a kid.

 

What is your favorite type of workout?

I love to do an upper/lower body split 4 days a week. I like to keep it fun.

 

What keeps you going on the hard days?

This may sound crazy, but I pretend I’m a superhero and the world is relying on me to become stronger and faster. This makes me work harder in the gym. Give it a try!!!

 

What are your favorite times to use your Gripped Headphones?

During my workouts, bike riding and hiking. I also like to throw them on from time to time while lying in bed to listen to some soft music to help me sleep!

 

What has been your favorite moment throughout your fitness journey?

I have a few favorite moments. All of them are when I get to meet my followers at big shows and see how I impacted their lives to help them change and get healthier or stronger.

 

What’s a random fact that many people wouldn’t know about you?

I’m a Firefighter!! Oh, and I like to build things. Mostly out of wood.

 

 

What has been your biggest challenge through your fitness journey, and how did you overcome it?

I never really had big challenges that affected my fitness journey but I can probably use competing as a challenge. It challenged me every year to better.

 

What advice would you pass on to someone in their own fitness journey?

Don’t compete with anyone but yourself. Stay focused and follow your heart. What’s meant to be, will be and don’t be so hard on yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Trust the process and work hard no matter what!

 

What workout routine has worked best for you?

Upper/Lower body routine 4 days a week.

 

What does a typical day of eating look like for you?

Meal 1

5 egg whites

1 cup oats

2tbsp almond butter

 

Post workout shake:

2 scoops ON Gold Standard Isolate

4 chocolate rice cakes or a banana

 

Lunch:

6oz protein

10oz potatoes or rice

1 cup greens

 

Dinner:

6oz beef or turkey

8oz rice or sweet potato

Large salad with raw veggies

 

Bedtime snack:

3 rice cakes with 3tbsp Nuts N More Peanut butter or ON protein shake

 

What's your favorite place to eat?

Chipotle

 

What is your Favourite Quote?

It’s hard to fail but even worse to never try!

 

What are your hobbies and interests outside of fitness?

Working on cars and playing sports.

 

What is your favorite exercise to perform and why?

Bicep curls, because every day is Arm Day!!!

 

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

I’m a huge sneakerhead. I own over 130 pairs and still counting lol

 

What type of music do you listen to?

I listen to all types but my favorite is hip hop and dance music.

 

Are there any foods they don't enjoy that they force themselves to consume?

Is this a trick question? Lol. I love them all!!!!

 

What is the worst injury you have ever had?

Thank God I haven't had any bad injuries. The worse is pulled Hammies and slightly torn pec

 

What is the last movie that you watched?

Tag (was hilarious)

 

What is your most unusual talent?

I wish I had one but I don’t. I’m basic lol
